Neuromancer starts in the port city of Chiba, Japan. There are many references to Japan, Japanese technology (the Sendai, which is also a city in Northern Japan) and very post-modern Japanese, and worldwide cities and environments.

Although you probably can't read this version, it'll still looks cool on your bookshelf.
